Announcing WTF Thursdays – a free weekly space for artist-led community building

Today, we are launching ‘WTF Thursdays’, a new initiative that hands the keys to our building over to artists every Thursday evening, focussed towards events that bring artists together and deepen community connection. We hope it will be a useful resource for artists to gather and connect in our space.

WTF Thursdays is a new space creating weekly possibilities for connection and community-building amongst artists.

Members of CDS’ artistic community can host events for free every Thursday evening in the spirit of low-stakes, DIY action. This might include new work sharings, socials, book clubs, movie nights, seminars, contact jams or anything else!

On Thursday 11th May we will launch with a low-key evening hosted by Valerie Ebuwa and Renée Bellamy, with artist speed dating, an open forum for sharing works-in-progress, and a donation bar. Come join us for a drink!

All WTF Thursdays events are listed on our Eventbrite. But in reality, just pop down to see us on a Thursday evening and there is bound to be something happening….
